DANA POWELL

Known best for her role as Cam's sister, Pam, on ABC's 'Modern Family', Powell used comedy growing up to come out of her shy shell. Powell trained at MISSouri State University where she earned her BFA in Theater Performance. After moving to Los Angeles, Powell began comedy improv training at iOWest, UCB, and The Groundlings, where she quickly moved up the ranks and began performing on several house teams including the prestigious Groundlings' Sunday Company. She also coaches and teaches at various theatERs in LA.

You may recognize Dana from projects such as Bridesmaids, Modern Family, Veep, The Office, Arrested Development, Blackish, and the 2017 revival of Curb Your Enthusiasm.


JESSICA YOUNG

You may have seen her make a “touch down” on new girl or clowning around on jimmy kimmel live. a theater major at the university of alabama, young was drawn toward her department’s monthly guerilla theater which allowed her to explore improv and comedy in a new way. her life completely changed once she found her people through the improv community in Los angeles. After years of performing and coaching at IO west, young can be seen weekly at the pack theater and improv festivals around the country. she is a founding board member and the activities director for camp improv utopia.

HOW WE MET

When asked what her first impression of Dana was, Jessica answered ‘I saw Dana performing in shows and I thought she was a tasmanian devil that could hold her own in a sea of men.’ Dana’s first impression of Jess? ‘That girl is hilarious and THAT VOICE!!!’
